Zoo Photography

Image
Zoo Photography  Today I went on a photography excursion to the zoo, so I decided to show you the photos I took. we weren't able to stay there for very long so I wasn't able to take a lot of photos. I really like taking macro photographs or photographs that have a big depth of field, this is why most of the photographs are like this. All these photos were taken on a Nikon DSLR by me and none of them have been edited. I hope you enjoy them, if you have any photography tips please let me know :)

The language of thorns book review

Image
The Language of Thorns  Midnight Tales and Dangerous magic  By Leigh Bardugo I really loved this book. The Language of Thorns is a book filled with a collection of short stories containing revenge, love, betrayal, and sacrifice.  My first impression of this book was that it was beautiful, I absolutely loved the illustrations on the inside of the book and the colorful text. the text and illustrations helped paint a better picture in my mind of the stories and emotions felt throughout. Previous to this book I had never read a collection of short stories before, to be honest, I didn't know how it was going to go. I wasn't sure how I would go switching between stories constantly, but I found it really easy. most of the stories were between 30-60 pages containing just the right amount of detail needed to be a successful story. all the stories were written wonderfully, I loved the use of magic and the imagery it produced. the only problem that I had with the book was on

Welcome Everyone!

Hello, everyone, my name is Maegan, I am currently a year 12 student studying subjects such as design and photography in Australia. I love reading, drawing, painting, and photography. This blog is going to be based on those four things, the main things that I will post will be tutorials and reviews. Because of school I will post once a week, but that may change in the future. I don't know where this blog will go, it is just a place for me to share the things that I learn and enjoy. I have never created a blog or anything like it before so there will be a learning curve that I will need to adjust to. I hope you enjoy what I have to share and I hope to hear from you in my next post. :)
